Musician Tuner is Gathering Writers
Musician Tuner is looking for writers! Do you love music? Send us a writing sample and or an article idea and we’ll get back to you ASAP! We’re looking to collect a specific group of articles for the October beta release.
Feel free to review anything! Tracks, Artists, Albums any review (under 500 words)
We also have a ‘Gear’ and a ‘Recording and How To’ category. If you’re a musician an article on recent gear you have used or seen ruin a gig we’d like to hear about it. Doing some studio or even home recording? We’d like to hear about your methods in each.
As far as genre goes:
Use independent artists of all genres as your base subject but a 1 in 10 mainstream subject will be handled. If you know some interesting facts about lets say Death Cab’s tour they just announced, people love them. But mainstream subjects get everyone’s attention. Who doesn’t wanna see an article on Ke$ha getting arrested for something crazy? She most likely (hopefully) doesn’t influence musicians but she makes a killer article that every genre is interested in.
One out of ten articles on Musician Tuner should handle the big audience subjects and give people some entertainment value with a little diversity.
